Gina Raphael + Shana Glassman

A graduate of Wellesley College and the University of Chicago Business School (Booth), Gina fell in love with Israel during her junior year at college during a famous archaeological dig. While she never realized her dream of becoming the “Indiana Jones of Israel,” she set in place a commitment to the country and the Jewish people at has now spanned almost four decades.
After a successful marketing and licensing career, including as Vice President at Universal Studios, Gina ran her own consulting firm, Siren Marketing, while raising her family and building Mickey Fine, a leading independent pharmacy chain in Beverly Hills.
Gina & Mickey Fine have won numerous awards for their community and Israel efforts. After leading The Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) for over eight years, increasing donations by 1000%, Gina co-founded The Golda Project with Shana Glassman to empower women to do more for the State of Israel.
An active advocate for causes benefiting the American Jewish community and Israel-based organizations, Shana is proud to be a co-founder of The Golda Project with Gina Raphael.
In addition to serving on the Boards of both the Hillel at the University of Southern California, from where she earned her undergraduate degree; and the Hillel at Northeastern University in Boston, where both of her sons are current students. In 2020, she co-founded the Jewish Family Alliance at Harvard-Westlake School and served as co-chair through June 2024.
Shana comes from a long line of family devoted to Israel and the Jewish community; her great-grandparents founded Valley Beth Shalom synagogue in the early 1950's. She is proud to carry on their legacy and commitment through her work with The Golda Project.
